I remember, studying direction from the Film Institute, then I saw Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Like everyone else, I liked this movie. The story of a horror comedy film was written for producer Murad Khetani. One day he told him that it could become a very good bhool bhulaiyaa-2. Muradji liked this idea very much. He had done the kabir singh film with allready t-series, so we went and met Bhushan Kumar. Lakli, at that time Bhushan Kumar was looking for the script of Bhool Bhulaiyaa-2. Bhool Bhulaiyaa is a remake of south film, so everyone was thinking about Bhool Bhulaiyaa-2 that it will also be a remake of a South film. But i am happy and proud that murad ji and bhushan ji liked the story written by me. He said that there will be a bhool bhulaiyaa-2 on this. That’s how the idea of Bhool Bhulaiyaa-2 first came to my mind.

So thought that in the first there is no ghost, then in the second there should be a ghost. I will do the bean thing in Bhool Bhulaiyaa-2, then it will not have a repeat value. So in the film we have kept so much beans that there is a mansion and there is a door in it. The story is completely different from here. There’s really a ghost behind the door.
